My "Essential" Top 50 songs (from my adolescent years, in no particular order!)

They represent the songs from mid-70's to around 1983, probably my most "influential" years.

It could easily have been a Top 100, but I didn't really have the time...!

So 50 it is, then! These are not a real "Top 50" in the sense of a chart rundown, more a list of essential "Desert Island Discs" if (heaven forbid!), I was ever faced with the prospect of only being allowed to put 50 songs on my music player, and could only ever listen to those 50 tracks..........!
